I have the radio on and tuned to the BBC World Service.
There's something reassuring about knowing there's someone back home in the UK broadcasting away. |

I sky plus any programmes I want to watch in bed later because I'm a night owl and its the best time to watch tv for me. One of the joys of living alone is you are in complete control of the doofah.

"and your not bumping uglies do you watch the tele ? I can't sleep without the thing on now a days "
Never bump uglies and rarely have t.v on in bedroom - if I do it's to watch a dvd or vid, do read in bed though |

Yes, didn't sleep for more than a couple of hours last night. If I drop off the tv closes down after four hours anyway. Think that's only happened once this year as I'm wide awake! |

I don't have a tv in the bedroom, I view it as for sex and and sleep only really. The only time I could happily have a tv in there would be if I was bedridden, but I'm never ill anyway, so every tv I own is elsewhere.... |

"I have a tv but never have it on when im trying to sleep, i always find something i want to watch which is fatal, so i try not to bother"
Same here. TV keeps me awake.
I read. A few pages and my eyelids are dropping. |

I've had chronic insomnia for the last 10 years, so generally don't bother going to bed- couch is good enough for me-tho I find the dog's snoring quite theraputic now |

I often have the telly on for an hour or so before I go to sleep to clear my head. If I go to bed really late I tend not to bother. If I fancy an ealy night, I'll sometimes get in bed early evening and put a dvd on. |

I don't even have a TV in the bedroom, am I odd?
I personally read or watch TV downstairs, going to bed I sleep, or more usually spin over technical problems in my head for a while then fall asleep.
I'm actually great in bed... can sleep for hours! |

I don't have a TV in my bedroom.
My upstairs neighbours do though so lately I've been listening to theirs!
I have music on really low... and in fact have the same CD in there for about a year at a time. I'm a creature of habit.
It also needs to be dark... so I have two sets of curtains. |
