What absolute killjoys the above two are.

Their team has lost 10 cup finals, let them celebrate for christs sake.

What do you want , polite clapping and shouts of "jolly well done old chaps."

Sadly this is pretty much why I loathe football. The fans are, on the whole*, a poor example of human behaviour.

I watched one of the Hibs supporters buses return from a match a couple of weeks ago and some clearly weren't patient enough to wait to get off the bus, so they opened the emergency exit at the back and literally started pouring out like d*unk lemmings. Face first into the road. It made me cringe.

Ruined a perfectly good win cause all that'll happen now is the rags will be reporting violence. Way to go on tarnishing a result that they've been waiting on for 114 years. Fuds!

*I realise they aren't ALL like that but the bad ones spoil it for them all.

No, but I understand it.

No harm was done , only a broken goal.

. There was an exuberant pitch invasion.

As a precaution the police were deployed to keep the fans apart and to protect the players. No one was hurt, no one was punched. A goal got damaged. No biggie.

Newcastle and Gateshead

i don't think a lot of the rangers players made it off the pitch before the hibs fans invaded it....

most of the hibs fans only went as far as the penalty area.. and they are not the ones being talked about...

but a few fans did basically try and get up the rangers end to taunt them.....

saying all that... watching the hibs fans singing sunshine on leith was a joy

I'm sure you would have and in the semi I believe both Rangers and Celtic fans managed to behave themselves - right?

You don't get all the way to the final, fight tooth and nail to get tickets for you and your son to take him to a football match and expect to tolerate behaviour like we saw today. He's going to have this impression in his mind now that pitch invasions in the name of "exuberance" is acceptable. No sorry, not in my view.

Well done Hibs you were the better team, your 'fans' need to step up now.

Not a single report or question on why Rangers fans were on the pitch - did they come on to celebrate getting pumped?

Majority, like the Wenbley Scotland game, were there to celebrate. Nothing more. No one complained about that at the time, it was all good fun n games. A few tools tarnished it today not the majority.

I don't support not condone the people on the pitch but it really has been blown out of proportion. I've already seen footage of someone from the dugout area trying to kick a Hibs player. No doubt that won't make a headline though.

Think the only court case that has seen assaults saw the 'accused' putting his arm round the 'rangers' goalkeeper in a celebratory manner and stamping his foot in an aggressive manner????

all these assaults mentioned in the media on 'rangers' players yet nothing in the courts.
