Sometimes winks take months to show up on my profile, not the best way to catch my eye. I still love receiving them though

We use winks to show initial interest if we receive one back then we message

Winks or messages is showing an interest, not laziness. That's what they're there for surely? Messages don't get answered either. It's an initial contact, the conversation can come later.

Some seem to use block as a threat or some kind of punishment.

If I read that in a profile it puts me off instantly, so don't even bother.

They can block me lol I really don't care

We do check them unless they're from guys and it's an instant delete

Not what we are looking for so totally pointless. We do state that and still get them.

With couples and women though we will have a look but has been known to take us 2-3 weeks before we look through a profile who winked. A message we will look at as soon as we see it
