What do people, mainly ladies think is a better attribute to have?

Obviously if you have both that's great.

But not everyone is blessed with the looks, and some of us are not super confident.

And frankly pretending to be is worse.

Confidence is something I need to work on, as I think there were strikes going on in the Looks Dept when I was born!

I'm not exactly blessed with good looks, certainly not in the conventional sense. And I'm not the most confident. But the confidence I do have comes from me being or at least trying to be a good, decent person. Oh and I'm adorable.

If someone was really good looking with zero confidence I wouldn't be interested. If they were really confident but not attractive to me I also wouldn't be interested.

I can't really see these attributes as mutually exclusive. It depends on the blend. Someone doesn't have to be totally confident and super attractive, but they need a good mix of both.

That's how I see it, anyway.

I'd suggest I sit directly on that line and depending upon perspective I'm seen as either often as both by differing people from my same words or attitude

Well, I'm average looking at the very best, and I also have low self esteem. It can be quite intimidating to be in a room full of confident, better looking guys who can get a rock hard-on at a seconds notice.

Since my wife is an Anglophile, I would completely fade into the background if we ever visited the UK!

That said, I tend to rely on humor. It actually works sometimes.

I (male half) have a face like a bag of spanners but do very well indeed (all false modesty set aside) through a strong sense of self confidence.

As far as what I am attracted to, 'looks' will always be my knee jerk reaction, but in the end, INTELLIGENCE wins every time.

There is nothing sexier to me than a woman who is somewhat attractive, but who has no clue that she's attractive. INTELLIGENCE with a smattering of low self esteem and a slight touch of quirkiness. Just....wooowww!!!

We are both confident people and we like to think that comes across when people meet us as for looks then we're not arrogant enough to think we're stunners that is down to the individual if they find us attractive we think that personality and sense of humour are more attractive traits then looks alone
