Some aquaria come with integrated heaters and filters.
It's probably worth confirming if you'd like a tropical tank op, or even just individual items to use in it, if anyone has spares.
For what it's worth - condition the water, settling the nitrogen cycle in, so that bacteria are active. Introduce fish progressively, so that they don't cause major disruption to the water as well as increasing stress loads for other fish.
