To lessen the impact of a potential collision with a pedestrian, Google is trialling a sticky bonnet. It needs to be trialled to avoid potential unintended consequences.

The technology is already being used at Heathrow on the little shuttle track between T5 and long term parking.

Sticky bonnets? I'm all for pedestrian safety, but I'm not cleaning my bloody car every 200 yards. |
