Judging by the dream sequence of the island which just so happened to be lukes location, the handing over of lukes light sabre to rey im going to take a punt and say she is lukes daughter.. |

Abrahms has said that her parents aren't in the force awakens, which means she can't be a skywalker (unless there's a hidden branch no-one knows about) Obi wan is still a possibility as he only has a single off screen line in the dream sequence |

He clarified that in a later interview by saying "she does not discover who they were in VII, not that they are not already in her world" |

Here's a few reasons why Luke Skywalker might be her Dad.
1. Her dismissal of Luke as a myth during Episode VII, was the old trick of using dramatic irony to reveal a truth.
2. She's a natural with a light sabre and flying things, just like a Anakin and Luke
3. Her life on Jakku is a dramatic recapitulation of Anakin and Luke's childhood existences
4. Luke's light sabre talks to her
5. a bit like Arthurian legend only the offspring of Uther could draw the sword from the stone, only Rey could wield the real power of Luke's light sabre
6. It makes sense that the new trilogy would be about the Skywalker dynasty
And finally another recapitulation of the Empire Strikes Back could be used in Episode VIII 'Rey, I am your father!' |

The prophecy says that one person will be born that will bring balance. Anikin failed and so did Luke, so it makes sense that she could be the one. Yes im a little geeky lol |

Yes I agree with this. Born of the force but Anakin reincarnated.
She's an excellent star pilot
Her parents left her in a reversal of Anakin leaving Shmi
In the vision it's not Luke and R2, its Anakin and R2
So it's her lightsabre and she is in fact Luke's father. |
