The UK invented rock as we know it, more to the point Birmingham and the Black Country did, Zeppelin, sabbath, Judas Priest, what more can I say

As a Rock & Blues man, I have music from both sides of the pond. The Yanks have some damned fine bands, but if I had to choose, I would say I prefer UK stuff overall

London and France

"Rock n roll was born in America,,blues too. "

Yes, but it took UK bands and artists like the Yardbirds, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Alexis Korner Steve Marriott and other pioneers to develop Blues and rock and roll into Rock.

Jimi Hendrix couldn't get the US to understand his interpretation of blues; coming to the UK allowed him to develop it.

Then the next development were the Well known British bands Humble Pie, Led Zep Deep Purple Black Sabbath Cream etc etc etc to take it to the next level.

guys like BB King and John Lee Hooker couldn't get arrested in the USA until bands like the Stones brought their music to the states when they toured there.

For me it comes down to what is accessible in the live arena. I see lots of local music which is in the UK. It's not just about what you can buy or see online. Music is about live performance.
