Ok here it is .
Is your big toe longer than the one next to it , just want to settle a pub based argument as to what the norm is , any help with answers will be much appreciated , as long as you agree with me  |

I didn't actually think about the results of this post , im actually sat here chuckling at the thought of fellow fabsters all over the place checking there toe size , but thank you all for the input |

Big toes slightly shorter. I worked with anatomy long time ago, no evolutionary argument for why, but western populations seems more common (not more normal) for shorter big toe. Some people used to claim it was an older trait and that people with this were more sensitive to paranormal; no idea why. Perhaps your next pub bet could be who has which and have you seen a ghost!?!? Hope that helps... |

Okay... look at famous carved statues by Rodin or michelangelo or other sculptors. The toe next to the big toe is usually longer; and led to these being called aristocratic toes.
Toes which have the longest as the big toe and sweep round in an arc; were know as village or peasant toes....
Irony? Most models for classic works of art were prostitutes and not "aristocratic" at all....

My big toes are smaller and the one next to it (obviously!) longer.. I was told by a few people that it is known as "Greek feet"... No idea, never checked, just telling you and your pub buddies have a good evening x |
