Next year buy ready made pancakes!

Well after digging out my "none stick" pan that I've not used in ages and then getting stuck and burning pancakes filling the house with smoke I got 2 [edible] pancakes out of a mixture for 12-14...

So next year buy ready made ones or find a woman who knows what they are doing! heh.

Note to self: Deap Heat and KY jelly should not be kept in the same drawer.

I wouldn't have a clue how to do it. The only time I'm allowed in the kitchen is to make a cuppa, feed our dog or to wash up,

and that's just the way I like it

You should probably also keep hair gel out of that draw too!

My pancakes are about 10 inches thick and I cant get the bloody things to flip out the pan, mine always stick.

Ive toyed with the idea of either giving the kids the pan to eat the pancake out of, or just shovel the pancake out onto a plate where its difficult to identify what it intended to be

The eye watering smoke (I presume from the butter) was the worst bit. That was my plan to make the none stick pan actually none stick.

I think this just goes to show why supermarkets where invented!

Anyhow all cleaned up and the pans away for another year!

Making it, easy. Getting it out of the smoking pan. Hard.... I think they conspired against me!

I made 8, ate 6 with the cream version of Limoncello, and they were delicious!

I made a savoury filling of grated cheese, cream, finely chopped cabbage, diced cooked chicken, chopped spring onions, Dijon mustard, sesame oil and seeds, and made a parcel with the remaining 2 pancakes, so that I could heat it up in the microwave at work for lunch tomorrow.

It should be yum.
