Most of my friends-list are forum users....as such they are all over the place (geographically not emotionally) .
I don't see how it benefits anyone locally to know my friends list so it stays hidden; it also tends to stop the snarking that can occur when there is a forum fallout |

I have no idea if my friends list is showing or not.
I have never done anything to alter that so i guess its however the standard setting is.
We only have one friend on it anyway as i don't see the point in having someone as a "friend" if they don't communicate with us so i delete most a few days after accepting their request lol. |

I think the default setting, when you join, is 'friends list on show', in which case you have to change it in your privacy settings.
Possibly quite a few people with it on show aren't aware of that fact.

Ok so here it is, I ( that's Mrs) am super dim, and have no idea if ours do or don't show, so if anyone has a minute to spare could they pop on our profile and have a little look, then let me know on the thread, thanks in advance, Mrs dim, err I mean Mrs blue eyes  |

Okey dokey, thanks for checking, now I am mostly on the mobile and have never seen any, so does that mean they only show on the desktop site, ooh I don't know if I should show them or hide them, none of our friends have ever asked us not to show them, I am not worried about being on others, I will keep an eye on the thread and see what the general feeling is, thanks again  |

When I used the desktop site I showed it before I learnt it could be switched off!
I don't think there's an option on the mobile site to view friends list.... |
