I'm not sure if the modern definition of hobbies fit the activities and interests that capture my time and attention..... 
Back in the olden days when I was young the term having a hobby seemed to encompass doing something outwith the norm....

Armchair motorsports fan - bikes and cars. Also love my model railways, real railways with the preserved railway scene being favou_ed. I`m also into my Little Grey Ferguson tractors and being County Rep for one of the leading single make tractor clubs takes me all around the country attending various shows in an official capacity. |

Not as interesting as making the 3D sculptures, especially if it is for a commission, as it has to look like whatever it is they want! |

Going to football matches all over the country.
Watching football on telli.
Watching speedway GP and going to the Cardiff GP.
Watching F1 although getting a bit bo_ed of that.
Listening to music and going to see live music.
Reading.
Cross stitch.

My hobby used to be photography and writing... but now I do those for a living so I can't really call them a hobby.
Now I like to relax by making quilts and costuming. When I have some downtime from that I tend to play various computer games. |

Watching Moto GP and F1, and cricket too (weird, I know). Motorcycles, riding them and also tinkering with them, going touring in Europe on them, and the odd trip to India to ride in the Himalayas. Learning to fly to get my PPL. A bit of an interest in photography. Should get my push bike more often though |

I have horses and dance and I'm a bit of a book club whore.
Hubby is a drummer and likes photography.
In an ideal world our hobbies would be eating out, travelling and partying a lot more often...it's a work in progress |

I like photography and have a nice dslr camera (and a hard drive full of cliché sunsets)
I enjoy swimming in the sea (even when it's cold) at night; which freaks holiday makers out (twice holiday makers have tried to convince me not commit suicide!)
I love walking across the moors and a bit of amateur botany 
Painting glass...drawing (mainly sketched pencil drawings)
I may have just written a POF profile.. |

I like to embalm urban rabbits that the council capture on the local estates. Our club now has quite a decent collection that we exhibit twice a year.
I learned the technique at my last job but it didn't give me enough artistic licence |

I like ice skating. I'm more bambi on ice than Torville.
I do like cooking and trying different recipes. Jams chutneys and bread are my favourites to experiment with.
I have just got my sewing machine out and starting to make some clothes again. |

Design and make baby clothes and knits. My "failures" I sell as doll clothes. Read a lot, thrillers mainly. Cooking: always from scratch, no packet sauces etc or salt. Gardening, grow my own herbs.
Member of English Heritage so visit a couple of sites a month. |
