so, i was talking to a single male friend today, who knows I am on this site, and he was making the point that women want it all...we want a man to take them to the theatre, to dinner, to have sex with and to hold their hand at work functions etc...but we're not interested in taking up the whole load, like having them sleep every night and suffer their snoring or picking up after them (well, really?!).
is this how we all think now? i used to think the exact opposite was true and it was men that just wanted the arm candy without the hassle.... |

It's not how I think, although if I was single I'd probably have a different mindset.
Men and women are social animals, but most of us want to be social on our own terms.
Some will want it all, while others are happy to be casual aquaintances  |

I think there maybe something in that. Ive got a wonderful boyfriend who has his own house. Ive got the choice of single men with nsa and for me it works perfectly and it works for Jay and the guys as well |

as thought this is a swingers site
not dating site
but some people dont give us ok guys a one going over just unfair i think

Sorry what I meant was if a man on here wanted it all like to stay over and meals out that to me would be more of a relationship not no strings sex. But I am new to this and I am happy to be proved wrong. |

its a complicated subject and maybe confused by the fact the forum is on a swinging site.The white coats have researched over the years and they reckon men split women into 2 groups ,mrs good mother and nurturing supporting mate and basically Mrs Slut ,who is to have great sex with and lust after.
Women (they reckon) break men into two groups mr sensible, good reliable provider and Mr Dangerous with good dna fit and strong and a risk taker..lol
it appears at different times we lust for either one,but you cant have both in one package ,its further complicated by the fact that one womans Mr Sensible ,is another womans Mr Dangerous and the same with guys...confusing isnt it lol

Sometimes you want one thing sometimes you want something else we just get lots more choice these days. Men are the same not wanting the nagging and stuff. |

Sorry, I need further clarification. Are you saying, that because this is a swinging site, regardless of what the person looks like, ethnicity, sexuality etc, as long as you get on with them you can rise to the occasion and you're not bothered what they look like. But those of us with discerning tastes and preferences are looking for dates?
How is that applicable to couples?  |
