Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I didn't have you pegged for this one. It clashes with Marcella.

I'm not too bothered about the chevrons matching - slippery fabric is a must

62 West Wallaby Street (not real address)

I love getting out my sewing machine my gran left to me. It's about 50 years old but still does the job. I've made all sorts. A whole car interior for a classic mini including seat covers, horse rugs, a few items of clothing. Just wish I had more time to make things

i made a pretty good cloak recently. i have a very old singer sewing machine, i need new bobbins for it but the newer ones are just that little bit too tall for it so if anyone knows where i can get some i'd be grateful.

When did "bee" come into our vocabulary, except when describing a flying buzzy thing?

"I'd love to learn to sew "

You can get such cheap hand crank machines on eBay, easy to thread and use. Free tutorials on YouTube and free patterns to download and print all over the net.

It is just not British, is it? I say. We shall fight them on the beeches. The BBC is going downhill.

I'm off to listen to Radio 4 and the jolly World Service where standards still matter.

I shall leave you all to watch bees.

"What's a cover stitch machine?"

looks like it makes a stretchy stitch as they were using it on edges...bit more professional looking than a zigzag stitch
