So how many motoring related accidents have you been involved in since passing your test...?

This also includes minor collisions with stationary objects etc .....

Be honest.....

One.

Some woman lacking in brain cells somehow managed to drive into the back of me on the motorway whilst in stationary/slow moving traffic.

Traffic had just come to a stop and she hit me at roughly 30mph, so fuck knows what she was doing!

None to date. Few close calls on the bike due to drivers who need to have their eyes tested again. I'm having driving lessons at the moment and none during those either. Test in July so fingers crossed I'll keep my clean slate.

Three.

Got side swiped by someone in a Laguna. Ended up getting stretchered off to hospital cursing that I didn't go in the air ambulance because it couldn't land.

And the second time a dip shit of a lorry drive didn't check his mirrors and swerved into me while changing lanes and carried on with my car underneath him. That was hairy watching his wheels churn my two week old car up. He lost his job and his company a chunk of money but not the point.

Three got hit by a bus in my bright yellow car but he was nice about it all and the bus company even hired me a car while mine was being fixed.

Two and the first one is rather embarrassing to admit.

After passing my cbt I bought myself a little 125cc vespa. First time I took it out I was taking it off the stand, lost my balance somehow and dropped it, landing on top of it fortunately it didn't leave any damage.

Second time I was riding home in the evening. Lights on and wearing hi viz. Some stupid woman pulled out on my left as I was going around a roundabout and hit me on my left rear. How I stayed upright I have no idea! Apparently she didn't see me. I recommended that she come and see me at work so we could arrange an eye test for her

None where I was the driver. One which was near fatal, and left passengers with significant life ruining injuries. People seem to forget cars can kill people even inside of them.

a few, nothing major for me, though my first wife was killed in an RTA.

Couple of weird ones,

my car got run over by a wheel that came off a vehicle going the opposite way. the wheel jumped the central reservation and came down on the bonnet, still rolling it went up the screen and over the roof.

keeping to this trend a recycling bin blown on the wind landed on the roof of my car doing a silly amount of damage.

I had a accident with a pedestrian,I was going down the road when this woman started to cross the road. She saw me coming so turned around and stepped back onto the pavement.I had braked but started to accelerate back up.Low and behold she set off again, next thing she was on the windscreen. What was going through her head is beyond me.

Loads of wee stuff, hitting street furniture (bollards, fences, toll booths etc), all very minor. Nature of some of my work though.

One car crash where a guy rear ended me at 70 on a striaght bit of motorway and we were the only two cars there.

Easy, very few in comparison.

Seven, two were rear end shunts of the vehicle in front, my responsibility. One rear end shunt where it WA she other driver's responsibilility. One were I caught a low bollard at Centreparcs doing a three point turn. One where I backed out into a stationary truck. Twice caught the sills on our low garden wall. Now the offending wall has been removed ????

When I first passed years ago I hit a car reversing out a parking space totally smashed it in and I as bad I drove off.

Since then nothing thank god!

My friend waz killed two weeks ago in a rtc and her partner has life changing injuries the only saving grace that day was someone watching over there baby his car seat saved him.

I really don't believe people are being totally honest!

In 26 years I've had....

One Collison with a low post that i couldn't see in a car park not long after passing my test in my mum's car, one Collison with a very tall post whilst reversing my car out of a space....i was too busy watching the Fucking idiot pedestrians that walk right behind your car while you're obviously trying to come out of a space and i wasn't watching my front end....

3 wing mirror incidents...only one happened while i was driving the other two whilst parked, one van driving into the back of me while i was waiting to turn right.....erm i think that's it.

Being totally honest I can't tell you how many times I have hit the hedge at the end of my road trying to reverse out its quite a few.

I've also reversed into two parked cars a bollard and a fence.

But whilst driving about I've only ever had one car hit me which pushed me into another car which shook me up a bit but the damage was all cosmetic luckily and noone was hurt

3.

1 - like the guy above, I got t-boned on Cumberland Ave by a parcel force driver who tried to drive through a red light.

2 - on the A12, nearly 19yes ago, I was the only biker involved in a 120+ car pile up, was featured on all the news as that biker that "flew through the air like a cartwheel".

3 - brand new car and someone drove into it at a Tesco's but obviously didn't leave a name or number, just 2 grand of damage

One. I reversed into a bollard and scratched and mildly dented the bumper.

And it wasn't my car. It was my new boyfriend's car and he never lent his car to ANYONE because he didn't trust anyone with it.

I drove a four hour road trip across the country to see him in it (he'd gone away on a course with work) with no incident. Got home, fine, and nudged the bollard as I parked.

Doh!

Luckily he wasn't pissed off but I was terrified telling him.

Must've been true love. He's now my husband.

Sat in service station in a rather large army Lorry waiting my turn to refuel. Driver in front who had a caravan started to reverse. And hit me. Then he tried to push my 33,000kg truck back with his car and quickly falling apart fibreglass caravan. He jumped out and started sobbing. " sorry mate I didn't see you!" " I'm not surprised" I said climbing down the 10 foot to the floor. "It's camouflaged".
