"Anybody else into gaming? I (M) like a game on the playstation now and then, but since I'm not on so often there's rarely anybody to play with.

I have an xbox one, xbox 360, Playstation 4, 2 and 1, a gamecube, a dreamcast, wii, several gameboys and DS and I also computer game |

I would have called myself a "gamer" in the past but now I only play one or two games. FIFA or COD are the main ones, have a few others but half the time I just play what was in last  |

Im exactly the same. I stick to what stresses me the least. The amount of games i bought, played once and never touched again is unreal. I bought the division the day it came out and i still have it in the packaging |

Yes but to get the full complete experience cost an arm and leg most of the time, I have friend that gaming PC's costing over £1000.
I don't think PC comes close the convenience of a console when Im sat on my couch on my 60 inch 4K TV with the ability to have my friends round and all play at the same time |

You can build your own gaming PC for relatively cheap. And you can hook it up to a tv, which can be played on splitscreen. Just need to rig up several wireless keyboards  |

If you want the best graphics then yes you pay for it. But you can easily get something cheaper that still plays better than console. Also the regular game deals mean in the long run PC is cheaper. |

Fair enough. I can't get my head around using the keyboard. I don't have the patience to allocate actions to keys or learn all of them for that matter.
I have WoW a good go like and really enjoyed it but then Diablo 3 came out for the 360 and I preferred it so much to the PC. Especially since they allowed up to 4 people to be playing it on a single console and one screen |

Yup, love a bit of gaming. Have not had time for any gaming since christmas because I've been writing my dissertation on... gaming.
I'd say now it's over I'm going to get more time to game. However I've just started writing my research proposal tonight on... you guessed it... gaming... so it looks like again I won't be playing for a while... |

It would be really expensive to get them all there on my sofa. |

There's a gaming club pretty much on our doorstep which runs weekly.

PC and usually play for an hour most days.
I'm actually bored of most things and it takes something pretty special to get my attention. I've played pretty much everything.
Multiplayer is a bit better, but most genres are lacking at the moment. |

PC all the way, I'll never go back to consoles. Had the day off today and played the new Doom. Gave me a major nostalgia trip as the pacing and level design are really true to the original.
Plus the guns have a real weight and power to them.

Your 4k tv displaying a picture that was originally sub 1080p but then upscaled to 1080p before being upscaled once again by your tv.
Could just stick a steam link or ehrernet cable down and actually play at 4k on your tv. |

I had high hopes for stellaris but till fleet combat gets fixed and diplomacy sorted its a bit basic.
Paradox though are fampus for patch and long term game support (and not making you pay for it in dlc) that i expect it to be fixed within a year |
