What have you seen, experienced or done that you're unlikely to do/see again?

I was lucky enough to live in a country when it gained independence from Britain. I'm unlikely to ever do that again.

Saw baby turtles hatching and watched them scrambling down the sand to the ocean on an island off the coast of Australia. There were only two of us on the whole beach.

I saw killer whales once in Tenerife, that bought a tear to my eye seeing them, I'd love to get up closer to them.

Can't really think of anything else that had that much of an impact on my life to be honest, not one that I would want to revisit again, there are obvious ones of course like the birth of my kids (I'd like to see them actually born not just push them out you know) but there isn't an amazing event, not yet anyway!!

There are multiple things for me. I have to say a lot of things I have done I can never replace. I used to work as a tv extra and worked on Dr Who and Bastard Executioner. I've met great people, such as John Barrowman and Johnny Depp. But the moment that always holds close to me is when I found out about the course I am on now in my university and how much more happier I am now in my life

There's a fact I never knew... Until very recently...

Did you know that "Killer Whale" ( Orcinus orca ) is ACTUALLY a mid-translation?

It was (wrongly) translated from what the Spanish ( who were the first to identify the species ) originally named them.

They are actually closer in relation to the Dolphins than the "true" whales, and the Spanish "name" for them was actually "Whale Killer".

Blimey, you learn something new everyday eh folks!

A long time ago when I was a hairy arsed joiner and carpenter my mate and I were having dinner ( as opposed to lunch) in our van when this 6 year old kid ran out in front of the van and was hit by a car. It was quite horrendous and we immediately jumped out of the van and ran over to the toddler expecting the worse. The little one just got up and ran to his distraught mum. The paramedics checked him out and took him to hospital. Next day mum and toddler came and found us on the site to say thank you. The toddler had a grazed knee and a sore backside.

Maybe not in anger, but they would definitely have test-fi_ed them. Both the county-class destroyers and the type 21 frigates were armed with exocet missile launchers.

I flew on Concorde on a special charter flight which left London, back across South and West Wales, Ireland and beyond, which included supersonic speed and reaching the edge of space, where we could see the black space meeting the blue skies in the curve of the atmosphere, before heading back to London.

It was quite a unique experience and all captu_ed on a digital camera which failed to transfer the photos successfully, so no photos to show, just the commemorative glasses and certificate, plus the actual champagne glass which accidentally fell into my bag whilst on the plane.

Definitely won't be able to repeat that one again.
