It is, Friday. the 13th today. As you have gathered, lol.

(fabbers) of a similar age bracket as myself. Will remember the "blood and guts" horror films of the 70's and 80's. In my opinion, timeless classics. IE, Friday. The. 13th. and, Texas. Chainsaw. Massacre. The originals are always the best. Remakes, poor comparison.

They dont make horrors like they used to;)miss.

Remember watching 'My Bloody Valentine' and 'Hell Night' in videotape during a girly sleepover back n the early 80's. My first introduction into horror!

The horror movies these days are just laughable!

gore isn't horror in my opinion. horror is more being scared and not sickened, although the dictionary probably won't agree.

Just recently watched Descent 1&2 for the first time, and there weren't nowt laughable about em...

the same can be said about the Paranormal Activity films too
