What's yours?

I'd have to say GBK do some fit burgers...even the non meat ones are a mighty feast.

Almost Famous also but they throw everything and the kitchen sink on not only their burgers but the fries.....heart attack on a bap lol.

Mr Mac makes the best homemade burgers with 2 types of cheese in the middle and lots of spice. Brioche buns just because. Dammit I could eat that right now.

Five guys are excellent, cheaper than Eds diner and free peanuts while you wait

The likes of gbk, Byron and the are good but are they worth the premium price?

The best burger I've had was at Bill Wymans Sticky Fingers restaurant.

Burger King should be better but nuking everything makes them shit

Honest Burger is my favourite. There's so many new ones popping up in and around the City/Shoreditch that it's hard to keep up.

I'm trying to visit more in Glasgow as they seem to just be entering the burger/BBQ boom we had a while back. Some good, some not so good. Suggestions are welcome if anyone knows of Glaswegian places?

I climbed down them with a buggy and 2 yr old once. Never again.

My best burgers are my own home made ones.

I like GBK and Byron but don't think they're worth the pice tag, went to Irish pub chain the other evening and had burgers there which was just as nice, half the price and get a pint for a quid extra.

Meat mission and Meat liquor in Shoreditch and Oxford Street area respectively. They are the same company and they also have a branch in Brighton.

Honest burger and 5 guys are also good but meat mission is our go to place when in shoreditch.

Canterbury

In the 1980's,there used to be a burger shack at Box Hill on the A24. The burgers were great,if you wanted a cheeseburger, they put a slab of good cheddar on it. The salad was fresh grated red cabbage. The buns were decent fresh rolls. It was a great haunt for bikers and dare I say it,there may have been a few races along the A24. A great way to spend a Sunday.

I went back about 15 years ago, as I was in the area. There was a dingy permanent burger bar with the worst limp, sorry burger that I had ever witnessed. I was gutted.

As self proclaimed king of the burger. Referring to gourmet burgers.

GBK. Good

5guys. Greasy and too expensive but taste good

Byron. Good sometimes served under done.

However I have found a great burger from a company that has a van and do sponsored nights in pubs and venues around London.

Check out "Burger and Beyond".
