Woman on the train

So I was on my way to London from Southampton today and this gorgeous hot lady I would say late 30's early 40's comes and sits down next to me giving me a smile. She was wearing a dress that showed off her amazing legs first thing I did was message the wife to tell her what had just happened and she encouraged me to speak to her but I thought what would this woman see in a pipefitter when there are more professional men on the train (something she is probably used to). She peeked over my shoulder while I was on my phone, almost showing some signs of interest. Fast forward to when she gets up to leave at Clapham Junction; she starts to struggle getting her coat on while sitting down and all I did is text the wife like 'oh no she is leaving' and an older gentleman helps her with her coat. I think I totally missed an opportunity while she stood up - she still looked at me and smiled and I felt like such a knob while she walked away without me saying an utter word... Has anyone else been in this position before?just thought I needed to share |

You know you could have just 'hello. Hope you've had a good day' or something. I don't like this notion of people not talking on trains and stuff. Could be just me who talks too much.l though. I just don't like awkward silences, especially if they're going to give me eye contact and smile. Least I can say is 'hi'. There's no harm.
Guess we'll never find out now.

Commuters smile to each other all the time on trains if in close proximity, well, only going from the times I've had to use one, so not sure about your situation was anything really, apart from she sat next to you cause there wasn't a double seat available?
Which reminds me, look up Ben Elton double seat story on YouTube, it's quite funny and pretty much very true. |

I just wanted to talk to her, not sure what I would have said. She looked amazing and just seemed really friendly. I understand not everyone is after a shag - I was! I guess that's why I didn't talk to her.

I've had loads of nice looking guys sit next to me on the train, i don't come onto them though nor do i assume they have the slightest bit of interest in me, i have spoken to a lot of them though, its quite easy to strike up a conversation with somebody your sat next to for a long time when you have the gift of the gab like i do  |

What on earth has being a pipe fitter got to do with anything? Be proud to be a tradesman! I love my fella to bring his filthy overalls home after working on gas turbines, put them on and ravish me in his workshop over his cold bench and then invading me with all manner of tools.
