I've been cooking all afternoon and I've come to the conclusion that I quite enjoy cooking... I don't really get much of kick out of eating what I make though. I like a taste to check it's okay but I'm much happier feeding other people.
I've made a pot of lentil soup and a banana loaf for the gang at work. I'm about to make some free scones for Rubes so she has something for work tomorrow as she's on her way home from London.
If I'd remembered to bring my boxes home from work I'd have made chocolate brownies for everyone too but I've nothing to put them in! Doh!
Am I a feeder?!
Steak with pepper sauce for dinner... yum!
What you having? |

I had a cooking day yesterday, batch made stew/soup, Curry and Casserole to freeze down.
Yet todays 'cooking' attempt was rather poor as mine n bubba's dinner got cremated |

I'm a feeder!! The one thing I miss being single is having a man to feed up. I've just made a huge pan of paella and I know most will go in the bin as my boy doesn't Like it. |

I'll be having linguine with pesto. The latter is not homemade, got it from M&S as I was given a 25 GBP voucher to spend as I saw fit.
And yes I am a feeder, as I have been making soups for my colleagues at work, and shall be making a broccoli and cheese (plus pork for the non-veggie version) soups later this evening for them.
We are not big enough to have a restaurant that serves cooked food, so we have to bring our own. I saw them opening and heating up tins of watery soups, and I thought I could do a lot better.
I save the roast chicken carcasses after I have striped their meat off for the pets and make stock out of them.
My colleagues know soups are really by-products of pet food in my house!
I would only make stock in the colder months, and shall switch to salads and sandwich fillings etc. soon until late September.

I'm a feeder too. Although of late, i've not cooked a lot - i'm scared of the new electric oven since we moved house . I prefer to cook on gas.
Tonight we're havig kippers with crushed new potatoes after I watched river cottage last night - except i'm using mackerel as we didn't have kippers .
