Underwear should always be washed before wearing anyway, to get rid of the fungicides which are used to protect them in transport from going moldy, not to mention the pesticides used in the cotton fields and the dyes used in the manufacturing process. Then there's the handling of the product in the shop. Even if in the box, often a security tag is fastened to the material, plus any customer could have handled it whilst browsing and who knows how unclean their hands are like.
Then again, even washed underwear causes problems, especially if you have annoyed your wife, like the guy in China, whose wife treated his pants with poison, let it dry and allowed him to wear them. The results were not a pretty sight. |

So funny when that happens. I wore new dark jeans and had put body lotion on my legs .When I took my jeans off my legs had been dyed black .Best to wash them first . |

haha memories of regulation baggy navy knickers at school which were not disimilar to flannalette material - they never gave up depositing blue fluff in the nooks and crannies - oh the shame |
