I hear Gordon Brown has intervened in the Brexit row......says staying in the EU will strengthen our democracy!
Think he needs to realise that democracy involves the population being able to vote on issues that effect them, or, at least to be able to vote decision makers in or out.
Rather like he promised us a referendum on any substantial treaty changes and then signed the Lisbon Treaty without consultation. What a great example (not) of his democratic credentials.
He then saw democracy in action by being booted out of office in no uncertain terms! Hypocrite! |
