The Town by The Cross

I would like to draw your attention to the original Marcella thread where a very very very very very wise person said this.......

QUOTE

It's the brother .........

Marcella hasn't killed Grace. Either her brother or Marcella's husband did that. Or of course Mr. GayCar.

I do think it was the brother tho....

The man who got stabbed in the shoulder had white bottomed trainers on. Mr. GayCar didn't....... AND CarolDeadwithFaceinBag used to go to the A.A club of Mr.GayCars boyfriend and I think that's how Henry met her.

AND see when Marcella found the body.... well she was by a body ( unfortunate word ) of water AND when mrGayCar woke up he was by a body of water.

Grace was a druggy maybe he is a supplier... hmmmm he's always short of money tho ..... anyway ..... YEAH ...... it's not Marcella. I think the blood and dirt come from her trying to rescue someone or solve something.

Theories anyone ?

UNQUOTE.

Too many things unanswered as far as I was concerned. Main two;

1) Would a childs bite go through a hoody and shirt to leave a scar, and if so why didnt they find a mark on the hoody?

2) The 'door card' that fell out out the hoody when he jumped the wall. Explanation of that and why 'the boyfriend' had it, was so that he could wash in the morning after sleeping in his car. In that case surely he would have put it back in the deposit box as he left!

Indeed. Just watched last part with no canine interruptions, so stayed clear of this thread! I did mention the creepy half brother too...jealousy is a powerful motive. Seems he went about it in rather a convoluted fashion, but hey, it kept us guessing. What to watch next...

It's one thing having great twist and turns that keep you on your toes but when the whole world appears to be unhinged greivers, pedos, petulant teens, sociopathic killers, arsonists, modern day slavers, traumatised ex forces , single parent mother , brain damaged survivor and a copper who gets off with beating up her ex husbands new fiance with two creepy teens who don't even like their own mother just because she put the dead babies cot and mobile back up and is being watched by a creepy colleague through her p.c. while a pale , curly headed dead boy is found dead in a boot of a car surrounded by soft toys and a younger boy is chained to a wall and forced to watch old b and w cartoons whilst his 'khidnapuh' puts wooden discs into a skin deep gash he sliced on his belly and a woman openly admits to the police that she loves her pedophile husband and has no worries about being pregnant by him......... uhmmmm not exactly Andy fooking Pandy ...... is it

"Is it just us or is anyone else finding this a little disturbing to watch x

No. Not just you. I thought exactly the same thing tonight.

It's one thing having great twist and turns that keep you on your toes but when the whole world appears to be unhinged greivers, pedos, petulant teens, sociopathic killers, arsonists, modern day slavers, traumatised ex forces , single parent mother , brain damaged survivor and a copper who gets off with beating up her ex husbands new fiance with two creepy teens who don't even like their own mother just because she put the dead babies cot and mobile back up and is being watched by a creepy colleague through her p.c. while a pale , curly headed dead boy is found dead in a boot of a car surrounded by soft toys and a younger boy is chained to a wall and forced to watch old b and w cartoons whilst his 'khidnapuh' puts wooden discs into a skin deep gash he sliced on his belly and a woman openly admits to the police that she loves her pedophile husband and has no worries about being pregnant by him......... uhmmmm not exactly Andy fooking Pandy ...... is it

That pretty much sums it up... there’s so much going on and it’s really fucking disturbing yet I’m still watching to see if my confusion is the same as it was in the first series. "

Yes it's definitely disturbing to watch but like you say it's one of those ones that you can't switch off x

I’m starting to wonder if her son had something to do with the death of her baby... it seems too obvious so I think maybe the others are right and her husband is the root cause. I wouldn’t be surprised if he punched himself in the head... her hands were suspiciously free of marks for having clobbered him.

Do we think the wee boy got in the wrong car? That bit gave me the Dexter effect.

He definitely knew the driver of the blue car. Whether that's the 'surgeon' or someone who just procures is another matter?

I can't work out how the ageing rock star and his manager link to the current young boys.

The Town by The Cross

" killing animals

Who did ? I don't think he killed the fox. It was just dead.

He killed the mouse last week though...

Nooooooooo he squeezed it though.

Till it was dead!!!

Just re-watched the scene..... I must have done the Marcella Blank Dance that week ...... that mouse is not more

How did you miss that Granny?! "

I must have blanked it out due to being scared by the violence in my childhood that was Tom and Jerry
