I've just watched this and wondered if anyone else thinks that he was quite hot in his younger years?

Plus...what on earth has Kirsty Young done to her face?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

He was handsome then and he's handsome now.

He came to open a thing just five minutes walk from my house and I missed it. Stupid work got in the way.

His voice has got better with age - it's changed. I like his programmes. Something you can watch without endless swearing and violence.

He would be on my celebrity dinner party guest list.

He aged better than old Patrick Moore, who was barely intelligible by the end.

Maybe we should have him stuffed and mounted in the Natural History Museum... or brought back to life from his DNA (along with Dickie) in a Jurassic Park-style home for dead entertainers.

In the middle

He looks amazing for his age, and he still has all the passion and dedication that he started with.

A truly incredible man
