If offered a hot drink don't take it.
Don't smoke.
Lean forward.
Don't cross your arms or legs.
Have some questions to ask.
Answer in more than one word sentences.
Dress soberly.

Turn up early. Like, too early - an hour or so. Then you have time to read over any pertinent details in a nearby coffee shop, and if you're late you're not actually going to be late. |

There should be a glass of water when entering the interview room ( if not ask for one ) and then if you haven't got an answer to an asked question straight away, take a sip of water and this should buy you a few more seconds thinking time |

2 of my bosses said they new they were going to hire me before I had even sat down. Apparently walking in smiling looking friendly and confident with a good handshake gets you the job lol Mrs A x |

Be positive. Don't moan about your last or present job.
Research the company.
Don't panic if you can't think of an answer immediately - take your time and give a measured response.
Dress to impress.

If they ask a question and you don't know how to answer.....
Try saying " now that's an interesting question " . Pause to think and then there isn't a big silence.
If you haven't a clue, ask them to rephrase the question.
If at a complete loss. Suggest you are aware that there is a gap in your knowledge and would like some training once you get the position to get you up to speed.
Smile. Be friendly. Breath slowly. Talk clearly. Remind yourself you would be good at the job as you enter the room.

If you are sincere about your reasons for wanting that job then everything else will flow- you will have researched the company and job role and you will have a few relevant questions.
Enthusiasm goes a long way.

If you dont know the answer to a question tell them, they will be more interested in what you do know and hearing you make something up.
Take a look at any KPI's they may have displayed, if you can show that you have taken an interest in their current performance and comment on it, that will help
