What do you do when your message is deleted?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hello all,
I was wondering what peoples way of rembering if some one is not interested in them after a message exchange.
I have a system where I keep the sent message and then if it gets deleted I add a private note to the effect of not being interested. That way if when I am browsing I stumble across the same person I will know not to mail them again. I also find that this stops the need for blocking people. I find the block function is for people who have been rude and need to be permantly put on the naughty step.
What are your thoughts? |

Sometimes people delete messages because they don't want them clogging up their inboxes though, or they don't want them in their phone .... no-one deletes our message though |

You Dont Need to Know, right now |
Using Private Notes is a good idea... , just in case you were included in a 'block delete'. Don't mail again, but don't block them - that way, they can still get in touch with you, if they want to.
Like you, I feel that the Block button should be reserved for people who have actively done/said something unpleasant. |
