Just watched a documentary on wolves where a female was shot by a hunter and within a day her mate male wolf died of a broken heart

Humans like to think of themselves as faithful, but when it comes to true fidelity, many other species offer a better example

some animals that mate for life

•Gibbon apes

•wolves

•termites

•coyotes

•barn owls

•beavers

•bald eagles

•golden eagles

•condors

•swans

•brolga cranes

•French angel fish

•sandhill cranes

•pigeons

•prions

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Actually the male wolf died because he'd been caught in four traps, but he was caught because he wouldn't leave his mates body.

animal species that show little physical and interaction difference between the male and female of the species tend to mate for life.
