Not they still do say six weeks mainly because you can't start contraceptives til after that time frame and are highly fertile, however if you feel up to gentle intercourse it's ok just listen to your body if it hurts stop.

right, most people when they have a baby their first intimacy is with their partner. Im assuming she does have a partner. Your first experience is usually emotional.
You say youve known her years, she may act a bit clingy. But id say spoil her, curl up watch a film maybe run her a bath massage her feet.
Again the assumption is she doesnt have a partner, so why not not you just spoil her, make her feel good about herself and enjoy her "me" time cause she wont be getting much off that after a baby. |

No. It has not changed. My little one is 8 months. I was advised not to have penetrative sex for at least six weeks by my midwife, due to the chance of infection. |
