I'm not well enough informed really to pass comment.
I will say though if you still have a cock it could be rather misleading in the search function. I'd imagine most looking for a woman would expect a vagina. |

Interesting question.
We first came on fab and used an M/F profile as Erika lives and identifies as female.
And we got some abuse for it.
We deleted that profile and opened this one originally as M/M
We than had criticism (rather than abuse) from people searching for male couples as Erika was definitely not what they were looking for when they searched for 2 men.
We also had very little responce from people using the search function. People looking for M/M were not looking for us, people looking for M/F wouldn't find us as we were M/M.
There is a TV/T/S option but only as a singles option and couples using singles profiles is a whole other can of worms.
I created a thread and asked for people's thoughts. The vast majority thought M/F made more sense for us and admin were very kind in changeing this profile for us.
We make it completely clear in our profile exactley who we are and so I no reason that, assuming no one is being misled, you should not describe yourself in any way you feel comfortable.

I think that's poor form and would be better for them to make it clear from the outset what the situation is.
Having said that, I think our profile could not be any clearer and yet somehow we still get half way into arranging a meet and then realise they have not read one single word of it, not even the headline.

If for any reason you don't fancy someone there would never be a reason to say anything to them that might insult or offend them.

I think OP has an entirely reasonable point.
If he does not find someone attractive the wether they are forthcoming with their gender or not won't matter as he's not interested.
But if he does find them attractive, the. It is entirely reasonable for him to expect someone to be the gender he assumes they are.
And if they are not, then they need to to be clear about it.
To use the old "zebra calling itself a horse" and "Ferrari badges on many BMW" analogue that gets trotted out every time on these posts, it's your car, you call it what he fuck you like.
But if you take it for a service, you better make sure the machanic knows not to go looking in the boot for an engine that's up front. |
