We got ours out yesterday, had chicken thighs, pork steaks and chicken chorizo kebabs

We're planning a bbq/hotub party at the end of the month (strictly vanilla as mixed friends/family invited) but will keep the food simple with just burgers and sausages

I bbq all year round, not just summer. But I like to do all sorts, ribs being my favourite, 7hr pulled pork, steaks are so good on the barbie.

Haven't tried fish on there you but looks great, is on my to do list.

Some years our bbq season doesn't even last a full 24 hours,

so we've only got time for sausages, maybe chicken,

if we get the brolly out,

or willing to risk a wee bit of salmonella.

Beer Butt Chicken tastes amazing and has the added bonus of looking well funny when your cooking it.

Also Bacon wrapped Haloumi is fan-bloody-tastic

I'm an old fashioned burger kind of guy in a man v food kind of way add a table full of salad and I'm happy.

Easy to cook and leaves more time for socialising and drinking.

I'm not one of these people who wait to see about the weather first. Book a date and go with it regardless including that Easter several years ago when it snowed ??

I get one of those cheap gazebos every year, anchor it down with pegs and string and jobs a good un as long as you factor in the once a year door knocking trip to find out which garden storm katey has ripped it out and deposited it
