Depends on if it's a message or on the forum tbh.
Message if read and no response then no thanks... If comments on forums.. Sometimes they get mist or just ignored

It's politeness at the end of the day, I appreciate if someone replies to my message with a thanks but no thanks. Obviously I'm disappointed, but I'd never reply with abuse like some have reported. |

Its ok for the ladies who get 974 suggestive messages an hour but us guys when somebody show an interest its like panning for gold then finding gold paper |

Depends on the context.
If I've been in contact with / met with someone & then they subsequently ignore me then I would rather they be honest & say they're not interested.
If it's a random 1st message I've sent on here & it's ignored I'll take that as 'no thanks'.
Both are equally ludicrous though as I'm amazing  |
