Since joining I've become all too familiar with the block button. Would rather block them so I dont second message by accident as this can become annoying to the recipient. Although the list is looking pretty hefty now  I can't be the only one that doespecially this? |

You don't need to block to avoid doing it twice. You will get a warning if you have sent a message and not got a reply.
Also on their page...left hand side will show if you have had any activity with them. |

Some just delete the messages. And I have no idea if that warning comes up then. So rather than me get all excited over again I'd rather block which kind of narrows down my 'search' if you get me? |

I understand your logic. The only thing is, sometimes a woman has a lot of messages. Sometimes we miss some. So you could be blocking someone who may have met you at some point if you'd messaged again. I can understand if they've read and deleted though. |

I removed most of my hotlist for a similar reason, I would see a new picture or status update and end up sending a message, When I don't see them regularly it removes the temptation  |

Ate you messaging the people who are looking for the same as you though? No need to message if their profile states certain criteria which in turn means no need to block.
Some women prefer to look for themselves and if you've blocked them they'll never find you. |

I've ended up meeting some great guys who had to message me more than once. If they're persistent and I don't want to meet them I'll block. It is worth being gently persistent. |

I always read profiles. I avoid the ones who are not looking for someone like me. I wouldn't like someone to be all up in my inbox without the foggiest on what I'm actually into.
And I don't block people based on their profile, just the whole delete, no reply factor.

I always read profiles. I avoid the ones who are not looking for someone like me. I wouldn't like someone to be all up in my inbox without the foggiest on what I'm actually into.

But given the amount of messages some ladies get they often bulk delete which doesn't always mean they are not interested so by blocking them you'll never know if they may have been interested is all I'm saying.

I'm not playing games. I try to weigh people up before i want to chat to them. You can't do that off a first message.
There's some things you can tell by just observing, i'm not gonna give them away but they're my reasons.
But yeah i have recently put that about not replying if not interested, i'm gonna change that coz i forgot how i work... |

No reply means I haven't read it lol. No Russian roulette involved... Just a lot of messages. If I don't have time to reply to someone, I simply don't open, I never read a message without replying, even if it's to say no thank you. |

well yeah it does mean that i guess, especially as we don't reply to let you know anything.
a block is a definitely not interested, that's a given.... but even then you might be accidently blocked so erm...
look, some of us have had shit and dodgy experiences on heres. we have to be shady and not let on what we're up to so that this site is safer for us to use. we need to be more observant than interactive sometimes.
i won't change myself just to mak eit easier for any guy, and i do apologise for that, so if guys don't want to 'play' by my rules that's fine and i get that. there are others who will. |
