I love going to the seaside.
I was extremely lucky when growing up as I got to spend school holidays and alot of weekends, beside the sea.
Have family that live in seaside towns, so still get to visit occasionally when we're not working weekends. |

I used to live on the coast 
Nothing better than a walk on the beach regardless of the weather. Love a stormy day with an angry sea
I moved inland for work reasons and miss my beach

It's really windy in Hastings,you can't eat your doughnuts without getting a mouthful of hair.

Sun is shining in beautiful Devon; the beach is but 20 minutes away the moors even less. But I will cut the grass, have a fine salad and a few spritzers for lunch and wile away the day.

"Sun is shining in beautiful Devon; the beach is but 20 minutes away the moors even less. But I will cut the grass, have a fine salad and a few spritzers for lunch and wile away the day.

I work a mile from the sea and at home I overlook the South Downs and still only ten mins from the sea. In fact had a lovely walk along the seafront yesterday evening |

I prefer the wild north coast to the south; where caravans spring from the ground like mushrooms in the morn..... "
Dear North Coaster
I have never visited so unaware of its beauty, however i have heard from several people that i live in the best place so wont be venturing up your way til end of July..
For now i shall roll up my trousers and expose my lilly white legs to the sunshine and blind everyone around until the sun adds colour |

Whilst I concede that the south coast has its merits (huge dunes for one ). I fear it has been sanitised and I struggle to find a Devonshire accent in that direction...
We on the north wrestle daily with our untamed and wild nature (burning caravans as they arise)...we are not lily white but burnished by the sun and toil of labouring in the face of nature's passion. |

North Coaster..
Whilst i love how rugged and natural your perfect way of life is ,, i oddly love the summer season as it gives me oppertunity to ponder the beautiful coastline and countryside (as i sit in traffic jams caused by grockles).. i love paying double the amount in the warmer weather for an ice cream or scone with clotted cream.. i embrace that every where is chock a blockk and that im forced to de tour down roads ive never been before due to foreigners invading our lands with motorhomes and caravans.. it gives me a chance to explore
