i always seem to get meet people in chat rooms on here that I really like and would love to meet up with - so was wondering...

...what's the furthest u've travelled/most u've paid to meet with someone off here?

Have you thought about getting yourself to a social. I know scotland have some good ones and then you could meet up with alot of people all at once.

that way you can hook up with some local peeps thus saving you money.

On the flip side if you are holidaying you can always combine a bit of fun with your break.

London/Essex is furthest I've travelled. London was cost of flights and hotel, in total it was about £400. Worth it thought, I look at it as a mini break, I caught up with an old friend on the Friday. Essex is flights coz I stay with the couple at theirs x

If you both get on I don't see any distance being a problem.

It's all relative, if we lived in the USA going from one side of the country to the other would be far, but we're really just a tiny island.

wasnt from this site but had a relationship with a guy who lived in Yorkshire,, worked for the best part of a year.. we took it in turns to travel up/down every 2 weeks..

we had flexible working patterns and just made it happen. Eventually it took its toll cos id be dammed if i moved up north haha!
