Congrats to the new Labour MP for Barnsley Central, Dan Jarvis.
Dan, a former Para, won by a country mile leaving the Tories a poor third and the Lib Dems something like 5th or 6th.
Thanks to the people of Barnsley.

I hope that the new MP is a little more trustworthy than the last labour MP...as he was jailed for 12 months for fiddling his expenses!!
Lib Dems ended up rather humiliated....unsurprisingly!!

It's not so much that it's a spectacular Labour victory - more the fact that both the Tories and the Lib Dems did so badly.
The Lib Dems actually lost their deposit.
A brilliant result and the first of many.
