I know of someone this happened to. It's well known... The release of hormones (oxytocin) the feeling of pressure and increased blood flow can cause a woman to orgasm at delivery. Think about it, this is what happens during sex.
I wanted intercourse during labour, probably for the same reasons. He wouldn't though, he was scared the midwife would walk in!  |

I followed the blog of a woman in Australia who used orgasm as a form of pain relief. It apparently worked for her!
She masturbated her way through labour and it did, according to her. get the juices flowing in terms of oxytocin which made her feel good/ boosted her mood as well as helping with pain relief.

You can actually, if you can get into the right mind frame. I didn't but could imagine it wouldn't have taken much more to get me to that point if I'd wanted to.
A baby's head is obviously much bigger than a fist but the hormones running through your system at that point have stretched everything and are the natural equivalent of poppers before anal! Lol
My last birth was at home very relaxed, no one told me what to do or when, I was just kept calm and let my body do what it does. No pain relief was needed not even a paracetamol and it certainly wasn't the dramatic affair that my previous two had been in hospital, promising myself I would never do that again. In fact if I hadn't nearly bled to death afterwards and had to be rushed off to hospital, I think I could have quite happily strapped him to my back a few hours later and carried on with my day no more sore than I am after a good fishing session normally.

I don't remember being in the mood for an orgasm while trying to push a little person out of me. That was the last thing on my mind as it felt like I was being torn in half. Not sure the midwife would have been to impressed if I started playing with myself during my labour, positive hubby wouldn't have minded though  |
