Googling explains it so much better than me Shaz but basically they pump foam into the affected vein then constrict it with tight dressing for a few days then a compression stocking for a few weeks until the vein withers up and dies.
None invasive and mine was over in 20 mins. So much better than surgery. However I found out from my consultant today that it's no longer on offer exept in extreme circumstances because of cutbacks. I got in in the nick of time! |
