If they delete your message... that's enough; walk away. There are lots of people on the site if they don't delete your message; don't pressure, you did what was asked.
Either way I would say "send it and forget it" if it comes back, great, if it doesn't, no biggie eh? |

If you're doing this, make sure there's something to reply to in the message. I've let several conversations die as there was no question or statement to respond to. Also some people block those who don't reply, maybe just add a note to their profile in case they do eventually reply. Better late than never. |

Then don't be disappointed by a no-reply. This is the one area that we all need to have thick skin to be honest. Rejection is crap; it is inevitable. Politeness (for any given value) is subjective; good grace and acceptance, that's the key. |

Your picture was fine, but maybe a candid one from when you're out may be good as well. Multiple photos is a good idea. |
