Today should be the day. He should pick up enough delegates/nominations to take him past the point of no return.

He WILL be the official presidential candidate!

What do you think.....?

God help us? Or Bring it on?

If we end up seeing the day that the leader of the free world wears a guinea pig on his head as a hairpiece, they're even madder than when they voted Regan in. I would imagine Crazy Hilary would quite like him as an opponent though.

It'll be entertaining in many ways, but the thought of him in charge of the US military and NSA/CIA is bloody terrifying.

What's the betting he funds a manned mission to Mars in his first term so he can build a golf course and hold a true 'miss universe' pageant?

I hate to sound racist towards americans and uf offence is taken i appologise. But americans are known for stupid. So it wouldnt surprise me that he stands and wins the election and will likely serve two terms.

Not sure 'American' is a race, and I don't think they're alone in making stupid decisions. Just watch the referendum debate to see we have our moments too.

You know, I'm actually hoping he is president and each day it's looking more likely.

Contrary to what I believe I think the guy is a absolute bell end and I think he is everything America wouldn't want BUT ON THE FLIP SIDE.... it's a change in politics that we need and by him getting this far shows people are turning a point and showing we have the power and not the elite groups.

Hence our decision whether right or wrong for the EU, we are the people and we have the choice.

I like that you're trying to see the positives in this but I'm not buying it. His popularity is a demonstration that people respond more to wealth and personality than any political integrity. He flip flops on so many issues that i honestly have no idea how he's made up a consistent platform.

He's been said to believe vaccines cause autism, to be both pro-choice and pro-life, in favour of Syrian migrant refugees and also suggesting deporting them out of the country. He also suggested that to fight ISIS we have to bomb and kill their families - which is a war crime.

It shows how little voters care about these issues and just fall for powerful - yet meaningless - rhetoric.

Glasgow

I find the Donald quite worrying, but would rather have him than Cruze. Donald Trump looks almost liberal compared to Cruz. I find the whole republican neo con movement very sinister, as it seems to be moving more to the right each campaign.
