There is a York unleashed event in York on 28th August at the York racecourse. Anyone heard about it and interested in going? Lots of anime clad ladies....whats not to like..? |

It was pretty good last year, it was the first comic-con I'd been too. Obviously it's nowhere near the size of the more popular ones in the UK but it was a good size for a first one. |

Its meant to be a lot better this year; last year hardly anyone knew about it. There has been a lot more publicity this time round, so expecting to be a lot busier.....
...and hopefully some costumed ladies...  |

I remember last year that a few Fabbers visited...maybe this tear it could be a Fab 'Flash Mob' event?

I love these kinds of events, I'm off to one in June which was amazing last year, I like local ones the most.
I actually organised one a few years ago and had a few people come along and sign for us, it was very small but I'd love to set another one up. I also helped to sort out a Star Wars signing event last December which was a huge pleasure!!

Which one are you going to? I went to one a few years back in las vegas....REALLY opened my eyes!
I would love to meet some Fab people at the York one...could be an interesting scenario.... |
