Most overrated person to ever play for England.
His last 30 caps were only given as the FA needed to put bums on seats and he was a crowd puller.
But he is a good role model to kids and is generally considered to be a thoroughly decent chap so I bare him no malice. |

One of the best dead ball specialist,
Helped sell shirts and gain commercial deals,
I agree he was overrated but he was a very good asset for the big teams,
As for his wife, Not the best looking Woman in my opinion but not ugly and with the help of the people around her she hasn't done to bad either, |

I much prefer him now he's stopped playing.

I never understood the disdain for Victoria. What has she done wrong? To be fair if I were her I wouldn't smile either for fear of not being able to stop I'd be so happy with my family and life in general I'd appear smug!

I think he's improved with age. Now that he's got a few lines on his face, particularly around his eyes, he looks happy in himself. That is appealing.
