My friend just spoiled GoT

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I was cross enough that she posted what happens in tonight's episode on fb but now that she's refused my suggestion that she should maybe delete the post before anyone else sees it and gets upset.

Am I being unreasonable to fall out??

I'm inclined to say yes. So what you know john snow didn't die after all...

Is it really going to cause that much of a bother to your life?

Yes you are being a tad unreasonable {draws her Valerian Steel and chops off her head}

To be fair to her I know it was an honest mistake but when I suggested she might remove the post so other people might not see it she has refused which has riled me more than the fact she put it on in the first place

Yes....it's a TV show, no one died....or did they?!??!! Lol

I really don't get all this 'no spoiler' hype. If it's that important for you not to know about it then stay off social media. The only person actions you can control are yours

You don't need friends like that in your life. Delete her spoilerific ass.

I'd be gutted if I'd found out something about a programme I was watching. I tend to stay away from social media when there's cliffhangers.

You can find leaks online about the big episode 9 battle. You can get someone who doesn't watch the show to look it up and spoil it for her, see how she likes it

I'm not emotionally involved with any TV show, spoilers wouldn't bother me. I'd rather have a friend than keep the show a secret.

Two sides. It's only a show but it's obvious that most won't watch it until tonight. Doesn't seem like the nicest person if she couldn't care less if she spoils it for most of her FB friends.

Let it go this week but if she does it again out of spite next week then off with her head

To fall out with a friend YES.

To be annoyed and question who she really is NO.

It may only be a t.v. show but your friends refusal shows that she has ego problems. It seems she'd rather bask in the fuss of knowing first than make sure others have enjoyment.......

Mind you thinking of others is something that comes late in life.

Last Monday I avoided all media until I had watched the first episode. It is annoying but some perspective perhaps

No. Its not.

Graeme of Thrones is a parody piece of performance theater that's currently touring the country.

It's not really simples when on facebook and you're not given the choice at all.

It's not the law to log in to Facebook all the time so it simple really. Just don't go on Facebook until you are caught up.

Pretty much. Although it's definitely a generational thing. Spoilers are a much bigger deal and I consider it a dick move to talk about them on any open forum.
