Anything could happen for season 4.
We have had witches, Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, vampires, werewolves, Dr Jeckyll and others who could affect the next stage of what happened at the end of season 3 (deliberately not giving any spoilers here).
Who else in fictional horror books has not yet made an appearance? The Mummy? Dr Moreau? Captain Nemo? Or maybe a simple case of someone having an identical twin with a completely different personality? That would be good for the actor/actress to play a different character altogether. A Jack the Ripper split personality perhaps?

There is not going to be a Series 4 - the producers confirmed that the series was all about Vanessa's struggles, and with her death that was considered the end.
Shame as there are of course other places the series could be taken, and we'd originally thought the Van Helsing-esque Catriona Hatdegen had been bought in as a replacement for Vanessa to allow the series to continue, but sadly not it seems.

I loved it!
Watched season 2 and 3 and now watching season 1 - because I'm weird!
Would love to see another series but doubt there will be as the ' THE END' was pretty conclusive!
Plenty of good characters left to create a good spin off though - so hopefully that will happen! Xx |
