Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I am a world class procrastinator. I'm surprised I get anything done at all really.

Linking with the sexism post, I've never felt the need to do housework unless it was absolutely imperative to do so. If I wash dishes, there will be more to wash tomorrow. The vacuuming can wait. No-one else here to see it. So I'll spend hours online just mithering around the interwebs, quite happily.

Soo pleasurable though, knowing you can have me time and enjoy it. Happy May day holiday.

I'm terrible for procrastinating. Always get to the end of the day and realise how little I've got done! Such as now. Uniforms to sort for tomorrow etc and I've played the mega drive with the kids and faffed on here!

I've got 2 fridge magnets my mum bought me. The first says "housework won't kill you, but why take the risk" and the other says "you can touch the dust, but don't write in it"

If it can wait 5 mins - then it can prob wait an hour...

If it can wait an hour.. it can prob wait till tomorrow...

If it can wait till tomorrow... it probably wasn't that important - so a good thing I didn't attempt to start

We're both semi retired and I've got six weeks work coming up starting next week. You'd think this house would be spotless with no ironing pile, a sparkly bathroom and an empty wash basket...think again! I'll probably do more houseworkwhen I'm working than I do now

Sure, I am world class at it.

I'm relaxed, easy going and prefer to use my time wisely. I work hard but with economical use of my time.

I'll procrastinate if uncertain about how essential it is to do something - many demands for our time are not necessary or even good.

Today I will be in Cambridgeshire, though uncertain when it may be, as time wasting opportunities abound. If it helps health, all the better. Stress is overrated.

I am very good at wasting time because I work better under pressure. I leave many of my reports and other essential tasks at work until my mind is firing up about them and get them done. To be honest though, whilst I am wasting time, many things are going on in the back of my mind so when it comes to doing what needs to be done, it gets done quickly, leaving more time to waster in the run up

I fee uncomfortable and can't rest if there's something that NEEDS to be done in my head. I'm often getting out of bed and ironing or cleaning something, before allowing myself to go back and finally sleep.

Have a glass of wine. The feeling will soon pass.

I think that because there is always a long list of things to be done i go the other way and do very little....otherwise one day I'll wake up and realise that i have wasted my entire life doing things that have to be done rather than things that i want to do. The important stuff always gets done in the end.
