I usually stream music via YouTube to headphones when working out but I'm running out of ideas so would love some suggestions of good music to weight train to.

I quite like something with a thumping baseline but it can a bit monotonous and often stray into rock and maybe metal.

Most recent stuff was AC/DC, Cream, 50 Cent, Fatboy Slim, Madness, Five Finger Death Punch.

As you can see, pretty varied but as I'm always impressed by the music knowledge of many here I thought I would throw it out there.

Spotify have a number of playlists just for tuning/gym/yoga/etc.

Some cracking tunes on there!

Run'n Bass is a good one.

Fave track at the moment is Calyx and Teebee - Long Gone

I quite like cheesy 80's anthems that you are embarressed to say you love when working out. The kinds that make you wanna grin and just dance

There are some really good playlists on Spotify for working out. Two of my favourites at the moment are Metal Gym Hours, and Beast Mode.

I must admit I like a nice bit of hard aggressive metal when I'm working out.. Slayer really gets me fired up and pumped up and really makes a big difference to my mindset.

I can go from the Monday morning I can't believe I rolled outta bed this early shuffling along to smashing the sets and reps out in a few seconds with "war ensemble" screaming into my lugholes and battering my brain!!

I'll completely change track afterwards though if I finish off with a run before showering as I like something with a constant beat like dance music or whatever.
