So I put a thread on earlier in the week About dinner for a sexy lady .so last nite was the big nite so having been to the hospital with my son in the morning I came home in plenty of time to cook .so the menu was braised lamb shank on creamed pototoes honey roast root veg rosmary redcurrant gravy. And creme brulee with red wine poached raspberries .by 5 it was all cooking nicely the wine and glasses were chilling in the fridge the after dinner mints were ready i even bought new plates to get the dessertc presention right .it's at this point I decided I would go buy some flowers .this was a school boy error .when I got home from the florist I realized as a single guy I don't have a vase so the only option was to do was put in the mop bucket .lucky the lady saw the funny side And it was a fun evening only spoilt by me having to go to work this morning .I really enjoyed cooking for someone it was so good xx |
