I agree…& the 'dying declaration' plot was used in a previous series AND was first used in Cracker with much better dramatic effect circa 1996 when Christopher Eccleston's character died.

It is easier to criticise rather than actually write an great ending, though. I personally would have kept 'The Caddy' storyline going into another series because I thought it intensified the drama….rather disappointed because I thought he was a good 'baddie'

Completely agree. Was loving it then it totally lost the plot. Actually groaned out load when that happened. The makers should have trusted themselves.

I was a little disappointed I don't think he had to shoot his way out in the end a little un realistic would have been better if he made no further comment and left to return at a later date with Kate on his case she follows him a discovers him trying to get away

I didn't get into it until series 3....then went and binge watched 1 and 2. But I'll watch these as they come

I expected something like that when I saw the actor in that role but the end was unexpected.

We will still watch it because part of the intensity of the series is seeing how it will pan out, but it was a little too obvious.

That's something I find more and more with TV lately, I have half an eye on the programme and half an eye on my tablet. Have started to force myself to put the tablet aside so I focus on the TV for certain programmes.

Thank you. I'm more annoyed that I was actually watching it on Saturday last week and my daughter came home and I didn't think it was suitable for her so stopped watching and now it's not available!!!

I made the mistake of watching the current series on catch up. Got to the end of Ep 3 and then had to wait a week for next episode. I howled at the telly along the lines of 'NOOOOOOoooooo. You can't stop now'.

Not sure which one you mean? Although she obviously has a hold over the Assistant Chief Constable or whatever rank he is.
