No point saving for a rainy day. Then the government end up with it as tax or the nursing home gets it as fees. Can't take it with you so may as well spend it.

'Kids', no matter how bloody old they are! Always need financial help and we're daft enough to do so. Even worse is there's also now a grandson! Bang goes early retirement |

If you're self employed I'd recommend getting a brand new one on contract hire. It's 100% tax deductible. |
