Women drivers! I was behind one on my way home from work and she indicated to turn left and what does she go and do? She actually turns left!

How am I supposed to prepare myself with these fucking mind games?

no statistically women have more accidents - but their accidents tend to be less expensive.

What's the betting that both sexes will now pay more for insurance and the insurance companies will be paying even bigger bonuses to shareholders

women have less crashes because men are skilled enough to avoid them on the roads

I've seen idiots of both genders.

Typically:

Men = drive to fast/close

Women = Have no idea how big their vehicle is or where they are on the road. Also seem to not notice when they are going to block a junction.

The latter was almost a cause for a crash with me a couple of days ago. A woman in a 4x4 comes across onto my side of the road to get past a parked car, plenty of room if she was only a foot from the parked car. Instead I had to stop in the gutter, (whilst blowing my horn of course). The best one was a couple years ago while going to work behind a range rover, it ended up drifting into oncoming traffic! Reason: woman coming sons hair in front seat. FFS!

This seems fairly common with woman in a big Chelsea tractor; perhaps it is because they only use them for the school run? *shrugs*

Then of course you get the boy racer sat up your arse in town traffic, not a chance if you need to stop suddenly.

Then again Chelsea tractors should be banned full stop irrelevant of which sex is driving the driver always acts like a t@&t

Yep...nothing worse than some wanker rep up your arse on a motorway flashing because they have another appointment to sell 20,000 drawing pins somewhere!..

I dont want to generalise but BMW drivers (SIT DOWN, SIT DOWN, NOT ALL OF THEM!!) are considered to be the rudest most ignorant on the road..of course they are not all like that but if anyone roars up my arse flashing their lights on the motorway when im already overtaking people myself in the outside lane its nearly always a BMW Audi or Merc...and ALWAYS a

bloke!...(normally fat!)

Its a case of 'out the way im more important'

Forget all that about women being 'better' drivers'...insurances companies have said in the past men have more serious 'speed related' or

'reckless' accidents..but women have more bumps and knocks...because of lack of control..

I read today that women can expect to pay more on their premiums...and men can expect to pay about 105 less.so does that mean we have have been subsidising the sheilas wheels brigade?

That said I still think women are overall the better drivers...wrong to say that most men drive like arsoles...but when someone is seen driving like an arsole its 99.9% of the time a bloke..

Boldon

having spent 40 odd years in the motor trade

one thing stands out

ladies tend to have small scrapes and bumps (cheep to fix )

men do tend to have the more serious crashes, (cars writen off , and lives lost,)

and yes i am a man

so what are your views on age limit for having a drivers licence ? My dad is in his 70's and is very unstable on his legs, and has a heart condition, so his responses are no where as good as when he was younger. So although Im his daughter and would hate him to loose the independence I do feel that he shouldnt be driving its a hair raising experience going in a car with him someone said to me once OAP's dont have accidents they see them in their rear view mirrors lol

friend of mine has similar problem with his father, shouldn't be driving now. said to him your son was knocked of his bike by an old guy and got seriously injured, how would you feel if the driver had been your father, its hard but get his licence taken away. just my opinion.
